Frey made a
proposal that PLDO funds be used to purchase a 1.15 acre parcel adjacent to the
new Hidden Meadows Fire Station to be used as a pocket park with a picnic
area. This park and adjacent land owned
by the Deer Springs Fire Protection District, not used for the station and
attendant activities, would be landscaped demonstrating
Firewise and waterwise plantings.
Motion was
approved and a subcommittee of Frey, Francl (from the
